Symptoms, Headache, Night Sweats, Chills

Whenever, Wherever

"Even though we knew would drive, he would have had an international license for roll, so it would have been galley ... "

(myself, along a country road on the island of Okinawa, March 2010)

This is what has been repeated during our four days in Okinawa Okinawa ... where we see young people doing nothing, unlike in Tokyo where the Japanese are always busy: working, participate in their clubs to go eat with their classmates or colleagues, drink, play, sing karaoke, go shopping, to dress, make conversation, work half-time, to go somewhere. The people of Tokyo are constantly moving, not having to think about what they would like to personally do. They throw themselves headlong into all sorts of activities, if possible collective, to forget that they are responsible for their own lives.

But it is not by ideology that young people of Okinawa do nothing: it is primarily because Okinawa is all about beaches and forests, that when we lived there since birth, you end up knowing every inch of his city and no car, no hello. So I saw groups of young people bumming outright for the first time in six months, his hands in his pockets, balloon toe, eye idle ...

Scary bus terminal at Naha, full bus we know not where do they go.

As a tourist, it was just lots and lots of time spent in transportation consisting of buses Colombian , and as much time waiting on the roadside in the middle of nowhere, given the rarity of crossing times. Many buses are free, but still empty of people.

Colombian Bus makes you jump from one foot approximately twice per minute.

However, more punctual, you die: when the train is supposed to leave at 8:30, the motor will turn at 8:30 and one-tenth of a second. I live near Paris so I was fascinated, I have not missed a single start bus: so exactly was beautiful! be, it is this very rigidity that made us miss our bus back to Okinawa World, close to thirty seconds. But that does not stop me from feeding a boundless admiration for these drivers as straddling the zones. I would have liked to bring one to give lessons to drivers of the TRPA Chennevières / La Varenne RER, the 308 and the Sucy-en-Brie RER / Crossroads Ormesson. It would not luxury ...

Does Heather Brooke Smoke

Tadaima ...

There will be pictures, words, impressions, catch up - I still have much to say about Okinawa and Seoul which I have just returned. Breath of fresh air despite the cold and chapping and soreness and spicy dishes; breath in my head, returning to Japan this afternoon, finding smells so typically Japanese that I had yet accustomed during several months and who have awakened this particular emotion, which was a bit sleepy these past few months ...

My love of Japan, which survives even if the country is sometimes too quiet, sometimes too exuberant ... Love that survives despite my fear of natural disasters and despite the millions of Japanese loans to me slam the sliding door in his face and pass me without shame in the queue under the absurd pretext that I am a foreigner. Japan remains a beautiful country and especially a country that speaks to me, where the silhouettes of small grandmothers and children make me smile when I find myself without words when I describe the smell of clean subway, the sight of sakura launderers and turn pink in my street, and musicality, the radiant beauty of this language ...

I was surprised by my two trips, the gentle island of Okinawa and Seoul the spontaneous showered me with colors, smells, and sounds. But I did not expect to find myself upside down so the back.

those who mailée me, I will answer very soon, first I must unpack my bags and clean thoroughly to prepare my return on Monday ...
